Life-OS · Web app
Waves
A sacred personal life-OS. Your day is structured around ritual and the Chakana — the Andean cross of five domains held in balance. Completing work grows a living Plant and Character; I built this tool to help me manage my own tasks in a way that felt natural with the rythms of my day and help with my ADHD

Waves for Ableton
Capture ideas, tasks, and reusable seeds without leaving Live, with just a right-click. It snapshots metadata versions of your Set as you work and syncs everything back to the Waves web app, so the studio and the day stay in step. There are currently two versions. One that runs locally in Ableton without a Waves connection, or one with a connection to Waves

Story Map
Plan a set, album, collab, or remix as a narrative. Lay out chapters with their emotion, tempo, and nature-element; track recurring motifs and the energy arc from first note to peak. A living plan that grows beside the music.
Open project →Desktop · Performance mixer
Dub Console
A dub-inspired performance surface for Ableton Live, driven live over OSC. Ride echo and spring-reverb throws, kill feedback, and play the mixer like an instrument. This tool is inspired by the roots and culture that gave birth to most of our electronic, sound system music.
Open project →Commons · Proof of authorship
Serviceberry
A gift-economy network for creators. Upload a work, sign it, and receive a tamper-proof certificate of authorship. This all happens through hashing, watermarking, and a community ran witness network powered by a chain of Raspberry Pis and LoRaWAN gateways. No fees, no wallets, no extraction. This is a special project that is close to my heart, and was inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer. This is a special project because in the era of predatory capitalist practices, specially around the indiscriminate use of AI (see more below). We believe that art is a gift from artists to the world, and it should be treated as such.
Open project →About this space
Deep Mountain Sound is non-profit organization that runs a record label, events, and support for artists. This collection of tools is Santigo's (the main developer) home for tool development around music. These tools were created around my own life and creative process, and so the threads run together: three of these projects live inside Ableton Live, one organises my life surrouding my music, and the last protects the work once it leaves the studio. Built part-time, in the open, from Nelson, BC.

A quick note on transparency and AI
We believe that technology should be a tool that is used for good. We do not accept the use in which some AI algorithms have been developed, how they are currently being implemented to flood streaming platforms, taking space away from artists that, in our opinion, should have the spotlight. At the end of the day, we believe there should at least be a way for those who consume art, whether it be visual, audio, or any other type, to distinguish between AI created material and human created material. I think that this website and tools are a great example of that. Though I (Santiago) have a background in software development, I creted all of these tools, as well as this website with the help of Claude Code. I think it's important to highlight that, as to show that these tools are opening doors of possibility, if used appropriately.
